My Background
My name is Capricia Griffin, formerly known as Capricia Jones, and I’m originally from Andalusia, Alabama. After graduating from Straughn High School, I went on to earn my bachelor’s degree in Recreational Therapy from Alabama State University in Montgomery. I’ve been happily married to my soulmate for 4 ½ years and am the proud biological mother of one amazing teenage son. My husband has three wonderful children—two teenage girls and a boy—who I lovingly consider my bonus kids.
For the past 10 years, I’ve called Rockingham, North Carolina home. I am excited to share that I’m now a first-time author! My book, Hurt People, Hurt People, But Healed People, Heal People, focuses on spiritual healing and is available for purchase online on both Amazon.com, Goodreads.com, and Lulu.com.

My Philosophy
My philosophy is that anyone can achieve success with the right mindset and tools. I believe that success isn’t just about reaching material goals, but about finding true fulfillment and happiness in life. To live a happy and successful life, I believe we must put GOD ABOVE ALL, including our spouses and children. By prioritizing our faith and aligning our values with God’s guidance, we can create a life that is not only meaningful but also deeply rewarding through spiritual healing.
My Community
I created this blog website because I believe that hurt people hurt people, but healed people heal. My goal is to raise awareness about the challenges we face in our lives and the changes we need to make in order to become our best selves. I feel a deep calling to help heal my community, which includes single moms, blended families, survivors of domestic violence, women who’ve experienced ectopic pregnancy loss, boy moms, victims of molestation, women who empower other women, those dealing with difficult in-laws, people struggling with church hurt, and so much more. My mission is to offer support, share stories, and create a safe space for spiritual healing and personal growth.
